Talking To Yourself & Endless Staircase! THIS ASSIGNMENT HAS TWO PARTS AND IS SCHEDULED TO TAKE FIVE CLASSES. However, each class is designed to be used for 1/2 shooting and 1/2 editing using PREMIERE CC.
************************************
Now that you have had basic training in developing video footage in Adobe Premiere, it's time to gather your equipment and take some video footage that will be made even better with some manipulation of video space and time. This project will require each group member to take video footage and create their own final production.
(REMINDER: EACH MEMBER WILL PLAY THE ROLE OF A SUBJECT FOR THE OTHER GROUP MEMBERS WHEN THEY REACH THIS STAGE OF THEIR ASSIGNMENTS)

TALKING ASSIGNMENT
ASSIGNMENT - Day 1 of 5
This assignment allows you to manipulate video time, so that a subject can have a conversation with him/herself. You will need to cast two people as Subject A and Subject B. Have them rehearse the selected sequence (RESOURCES AT BOTTOM), or write one of your own. Then, have the subjects switch roles and rehearse it again.
**********************************
The second half of the class you will need to film part of your production to have footage ready for editing during the beginning of next class. The objective of this assignment is to show how completely video time is controlled by the program maker. If you want to expand on your knowledge of PREMIERE, try some of the tutorials on this page COM1105 -Day 14.
Work with your subjects to capture all the required footage to complete your production.
