Alphabet Project
Part II

COM1205 - HOME
Day 12 - *Alphabet ProjectThis is the LAST of TWO classes you have to complete this project.

ALPHABET PROJECT
Your task is to see, and then photograph, naturally occurring letter and number shapes in and around the school.

Choose seven letters and three numbers. Please avoid duplication/repetitions. E.g. If you choose "O," don't also choose zero. Same with "1" and "l," "1" and "11," etc. Also avoid using the same object or structure for more than one letter or number.

Look at everyday objects and structures and then compose your shots in such a way that you exclude everything that doesn't look like the letter or number shape. This is most challenging part of the project.

Shapes must be naturally occurring and not actual letters or numbers. (i.e. don't spell a letter using pencils or french fries, and don't photograph existing letters or numbers from a sign that is printed or drawn.)

Self-test: If you show your image to a friend and they say "Hey, that looks like a Q!" then you've done a good job. If they say "Why did you take a random picture of your lock?" then it's probably not obvious enough that it's in the shape of a letter or number.
