Educational Personal Service Announcement

Creating A Tween vs Frame by Frame

View the Rising Up, by Animated by Brenda Vang.
The goal of today will be to create a Personal Service Announcement that is educational and utilizes tweening, film, green screen; Since cell animation (frame by frame) takes longer to create you will be using both to complete this project.

You will need to include "Moving Text, Main Character which utilizes life like attributes to the sound from the educational video, and a storyboard outlining your personal service announcement". Make sure to include all credits at the end of your feature.
Videos will be completed as H264.mp4 files.
Brainstorm "Educational Service Announcement"
  • Use a search engine, research possible educational series on Vimeo, Youtube that highlight an educational issue. (Wetland sanctuaries, Protecting the Environment, Caring for Animals, Endangered Species, Importance of Water)
  • Review the tutorials for Photoshop CC Frame by Frame animation and Adobe Animate CC.
  • Create a Character using the information gained from the Adobe tutorials.
    • Character must have moving eyes, mouth and arms.
    • Mouth must move with voice over.
    • Infuse both Frame by Frame and Animate CC features
    • Include background music
    • Include the footage from the educational video downloaded from Vimeo, or Youtube.
    • Include credit to all sources.
    • Animated title
  • Use your Journal to Identify:
    • What method can you use to illustrate emotion, or emphasize life like attributes?
    • Explain how your character helps convey the educational perspective.
